How to Manage Your Fanbase Wallet
Everything wallet-related on Fanbase lives in the wallet dialog. You can open it by clicking your balance in the header or the sidebar. From there you can check what's in your wallets, deposit funds, copy your wallet address, and switch between wallets if you have more than one connected.
The wallet dialog shows your balances across all connected wallets
If you have multiple wallets connected, the dropdown at the top lets you switch between them. Each wallet shows its tokens and balances in both the native currency and USD. The copy icon next to the wallet name grabs the address to your clipboard.
Depositing Funds
Click Deposit in the wallet dialog to get to the deposit view. From here you have two options:
- Manual Deposit gives you a QR code and your wallet address so you can send funds from any exchange or wallet. It also shows the amount in both USD and native currency.
- Smart Deposit uses Mesh to connect directly to 300+ platforms like Binance, Coinbase, MetaMask, Phantom, and Trust Wallet. You authorize the transfer from within the platform, and the funds go straight to your Fanbase wallet. If you've used it before, your previous payment method shows up for quick repeat deposits.
Smart Deposit lets you pull funds directly from exchanges and wallets through Mesh
A notice at the bottom always confirms which currency, wallet, and chain you're depositing to. If you want to deposit to a different wallet, hit Change wallet at the top.
For more detail on deposit methods and network choices, see the deposit guide.
Choosing Where You Get Paid
When someone tips you or pays for your content, the funds go to your primary wallet on that network. If you only have one wallet, there's nothing to configure. But if you've connected multiple wallets, you can pick which one receives payments for each network under Settings > Wallet.
Set a primary wallet for each network under Settings > Wallet
The page is organized by network (EVM and Solana). Expand a network to see your connected wallets there, and select the one you want to receive payments on. So you could use Coinbase Wallet for Base and Ethereum, and Phantom for Solana.
Adding and Removing Wallets
The Manage button at the bottom of the wallet dialog opens Dynamic's wallet management screen. From there you can connect new wallets or disconnect existing ones. Fanbase works with MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, Rabby, Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and anything that supports WalletConnect.
Wallet Types
If you signed up with email or Google, Fanbase automatically created an embedded wallet for you. It's secured through your login and managed by Dynamic. If you ever need the private key, you can export it from the Manage dialog under Account & Security.
If you brought your own wallet (MetaMask, Phantom, etc.), that's an external wallet. You keep full control of the keys and Fanbase just connects to it.
You can use both types at the same time, and you can have wallets on different networks (EVM for Base/Ethereum, and a separate Solana wallet).
Finding Your Wallet Address
The fastest way to get your wallet address is from the wallet dialog. Open it, and click the copy icon next to your wallet name. If you have multiple wallets, make sure you've selected the right one first using the dropdown.
Your EVM address (Base and Ethereum) is the same across both networks. Your Solana address is separate.
Transaction History
Your past transactions are in the Transactions page, accessible from the sidebar. You can filter by reason, date range, or search for specific transactions. Each entry shows who was involved, what it was for, the network, a link to the block explorer, the amount, and when it happened.
Security
Protect your account
- Secure your email — your embedded wallet depends on it
- Log out on shared devices
- Use a password manager
Protect your keys
If using external wallets:
- Never share your seed phrase
- Don't store keys in plain text
- Consider hardware wallets for large amounts
- Fanbase will never ask for your keys
Recognize scams
- We never DM asking for wallet access
- We never ask for your seed phrase
- Always verify you're on fanbase.com
- Ignore "support" from unofficial channels
Troubleshooting
Balance not updating
- Refresh the page
- Check a block explorer to see if the transaction confirmed
- Clear browser cache or try a different browser
Wallet won't connect
- Make sure the wallet extension is installed and unlocked
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
- Update your wallet extension
Transaction stuck
- Look it up on a block explorer using the transaction hash
- On Ethereum, you can try speeding it up by increasing gas
- On Base and Solana, transactions rarely get stuck
